Day 1. Transfer to the Medeu (30 min). Cableway. Medeu-Shymbulak-Talgarsky pass 3.165 m (1 h). Trekking. Left Talgar gorge – Red glade – Alpine Rose glade.
Distance 9 km; 4 hrs. Difference in height +200 m / -915 m (3.165-2.250-2.450 m).
Day 2. Sunny glade – Tourists river – moraine near glacier.
Distance 12 km; 7 hrs. Difference in height +1.200 m / -100 m (2.450-3.550 m).
Day 3. Tourists pass – Kyzylsay river – Ozernaya valley – Big Almaty lake.
Distance 20 km; 8 hrs. Difference in height +430 m / -1.470 m (3.550-3.980-2.510 m).
Day 4. Zhusaly-Kezen pass (Cosmostation) – Prohodnoe gorge.
Distance 11 km; 5 hrs. Difference in height +800 m / -600 m (2.510-3.333-2.730 m).
Day 5. Hiking to the Prohodnoy pass/Primul’s lake (without backpack) or day of resting.
