The wooden lake got its name because of the dried trees at the bottom of the lake. The lake itself is bordered by sandy beaches, which contrasts wonderfully against its background. On a wooden lake you can go fishing, go boating, swimming, watching incredible sunsets and sunrises. It will be interesting to photographers, lovers of fishing and hunting. Very beautiful places, you can catch great shots. On the horizon you can see the Altyn-Emel National Park. Previously, the lake was bigger. Due to the fact that the sands are coming from the north-west, the lake gradually decreases. On a wooden lake there is a carp, crucian carp, bream and perch. Also found wild boars, foxes and hares, respectively, and wolves. Many birds: ducks, geese, herons, cranes, etc. Therefore, for hunters this place is also promising.
